Virtual Instruments Appoints Kai Preuss as Regional Sales Manager DACH

Responsibilities Include Driving Demand for Application-Centric Infrastructure Performance Management in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

 München, 1st June 2017 – At FLASH FORWARD in Munich, Virtual Instruments, the leader in application-centric infrastructure performance management, has announced the appointment of Kai Preuss as Regional Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this role, Kai Preuss is responsible for driving demand and increasing sales of all Virtual Instruments products and services in the DACH region. A key part of his daily work will be focused on the expansion and management of customer relationships to ensure that customers are getting the most value from their Virtual Instruments deployments. He reports directly to Sean O’Donnell, EMEA managing director, Virtual Instruments.

Kai Preuss has over 15 years’ experience in enterprise management solution sales and consulting and is well acquainted with the Virtual Instruments key target markets including manufacturing, financial services and cloud service providers. He joins the company from Dell EMC where he was most recently a senior member of the Isilon sales team. Prior to that, he successfully positioned and sold EMC software-defined storage solutions. Before joining EMC’s sales organisation, Kai Preuss was an advisory technical consultant in EMC’s Ionix division, a Tivoli architect with IBM and worked at Micromuse prior to the acquisition by IBM.

Kai Preuss graduated from the University of Applied Science Wiesbaden with a degree in electrical engineering, majoring in communication technology.
