It was a fantastic summer with lots of enjoyable moments, and now fall is upon us—with a number of exciting events coming up for us here at Virtual Instruments. We’re heading back out on the road to do one of our favorite things: evangelize infrastructure performance analytics solutions, and engage with our customers, partners, influencers and friends at industry events and conferences. As always, our goal here is to be a source of truth and vendor neutrality for our customers and partners. The technologies in play for today’s modern data center change and evolve so quickly that attending these events and interacting with our peers helps us meet this goal, stay abreast of the latest trends and keep an eye toward the future.
We’d love to sit down for some coffee and talk about your IT transformation initiatives or cloud migration strategies. We’ll have plenty of product demonstrations and good conversation on hand. Here’s a quick list of some of the events we’re attending in September.
Storage Developer Conference in Santa Clara, California (Sept. 19-22) – Hosted by SNIA, this conference is always a great one to dig in and get technical as it’s a developer-focused conference. Given our work in the storage industry, we spend a lot of time talking through the latest developments, whether it’s moving to an all flash data center or talking about industry consolidation. At SDC you can always count on attending a number of detailed and informative sessions and keynotes. This conference is one we never miss and we look forward to recapping all the trends and insights we uncover and discuss.
NetApp Insight in Las Vegas (Sept. 26-29) – NetApp Insight is a technical conference for storage and data management professionals, and since we partner with the company, it’s important for us to be here. We attend a number of technical labs and sessions, as well as meet with our customers and partners to discuss their storage needs and requirements. Kalen Kimm, our VP of Alliances will be doing an “Inform & Delight” white boarding session on our solution portfolio, the problems we’re solving, and the value we’re delivering. We’re also excited for this show because we’re going to make a big product announcement that will allow us to extend our deep domain experience across even more platforms and applications. We look forward to sharing this news with our customers and partners.
We’re also going to be hosting a webinar on Sept. 27 with George Crump from Storage Switzerland and Our CTO and Alliances leader John Gentry on The Five Problems Facing Business-Critical NFS Deployments. Click here to register.
